The Ford F-150, Fusion, Edge and Super Duty will now be available with cordless phone charging technology.
JVIS is the company producing the wireless chargers which are available for sale from Ford. The device easily fits into the console for driver convenience. Audio can be streamed via Bluetooth to Ford’s Sync system while maintaining a full charge. No tools are required for assembly; the charging device is plug and play and easy to use. The charging bin comes with a free phone case and home pad.
The charging bins are designed to be conductive making them safer and more efficient versus inductive chargers. Unlike inductive charging, charging devices using conductive technology do not utilize any electro magnetic fields or radiation.
Ford’s charging technology is compatible with the standard of technology supported by the Alliance for Wireless Power. Apple’s iphone does not currently support wireless charging technology. There are approximately eighty phones currently on the market with wireless charging capabilities.
